Hi! My name is Brian Jensen. Music has been a part of my life since the beginning. My mother, Nancy Jensen, has been teaching piano since she was 14 years old. My sister, Lori Jensen, is a violinist and teacher. I played cello for many years, which included piano trios with my family and wedding gigs with my sister. After college, I worked as an auto mechanic and moved up the ranks to become a service advisor. Working with machines, attention to detail and problem solving are my fortes and combined with my love of music, piano tuning seemed the perfect next step for me. I completed the Piano Technician Academy tuning and repair course and jumped right into tuning my sister’s 1980 Steinway model L. The whole process took over four hours. My mom’s piano tuner looked it over and gave me some suggestions and I did it again until I was satisfied. I ventured out in the field, picking up referrals from Next Door. With each piano, I gained confidence and sped up the process while maintaining a high level of precision and accuracy. I take pride in my work and  treat every piano as if it’s my own. I will take the time needed to make sure everything is up to the highest standard.
